I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.I don't normally read a lot of non-fiction, as I sometimes find it a bit boring and/or text book-y. However, this book captured my attention because I am interested in aliens, ancient history and the origins of mankind.
This book explores several interesting theories. Some of them are controversial, such as God and the ancient ancestral Gods are actually aliens, and that the human race is actually genetically engineered slaves. There are also some conspiracy theories about whether there are aliens amongst us, and that the leaders of the world know that they are here. There has been a lot of research done by the author into these and other subjects that makes this book an intriguing read!
However, there was also a lot of information that I found to be a bit above my understanding, and I found myself a bit adrift. This was not the actual author's theories, but another author called Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, which Drago De Silver used as part of his research. Her theories definitely gave me food for thought, but also left me with a few questions. Unfortunately, I cannot ask them of her, as she is no longer alive to answer them.
I must admit that I believe that we are not alone in the universe. Whether we are slaves to aliens, or masters of our own destiny, I cannot say. I also believe that we, the human race, are older than what our history books and science tells us. I have no proof, but I believe that man walked with the dinosaurs over 65 million years ago up until the Middle Ages (George and the dragon, anyone?). What about Nessie (the Loch Ness Monster)? I also believe that man did not evolve on this planet, but was placed here; by whom, and why, I do not know. But, it would be interesting to find out!
Drago De Silver has written a completely intriguing, and thought provoking book that I struggled to put down! His theories, although controversial, match with some of my thoughts I've had over the years. However, I do not agree with all of them. You will have to read this book for yourself to determine whether he is right or not.
I highly recommend this book if you love ancient history, conspiracy theories about aliens and the origins of mankind. - Lynn Worton

This is a summary for those of you who don't want to read biased reviews by friends, stockists and acquaintances of the author (i.e many of the high rated reviews here)
The bulk of the information used is from websites (nothing peer reviewed) and none of the concepts are original, so you could find anything in this book online, for free! Since none of the concepts are new and more dynamic, progressive and reputable sources are available without having to part with your money, why pay for this sloppily written drivel?
The validity of the content itself is highly questionable as there are only 2 well renowned sources of information in the references, the rest are equivocal indie websites that make bold statements without evidence. This author really has no sense of credibility nor reliability in his choice of sources (either that or he couldn't find anything to back up his ideas).
The author displays a complete lack of regard for proof reading his own work, there are messy formatting errors from cover to cover, spelling and grammar mistakes and entire pages of clumsily worded text throughout this "book". I would expect better range of vocabulary from a 14 year old, even simple sentence structure seems to be hard work for this author.
To put it simply this text is just awfully written. I wouldn't recommend that you buy it, just save yourself the disappointment you'll inevitably feel later. This author really gives a bad name to alternative genre writers.

Weaving together information from different sources of ancient wisdom spanning a variety of cultures, we are asked to look at several topics in a new light, these include Creation Myths, Genetic Engineering and Evolution, Celestial Catastrophes, the 7 Races of Man, Giants, the nature of the Moon, Ancient Astronaut and Exploded Planet theories to name but a few.
Popular movies are frequently referenced throughout the book - by using this imagery and context, we can begin to comprehend the alternative history and theories presented. Since time immemorial knowledge has been passed down through allegorical stories, myths and legends, one could argue that movies continue this tradition.
Whether you agree with the Author's conclusions or not, this is an enjoyable and suspenseful read, and one that gave me pause for thought on more than one occasion. If you enjoy the works of Zecariah Sitchin, Erich von Daniken and Madame Blavatsky, then Humanity's Biggest Secrets will be a welcome addition to your bookshelf.
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow? Perhaps this petty pace is wearing you thin, leaving you with only one certainty--that there must be more to life, more to our purpose, our origin. If so, Drago de Silver's debut work, Humanity's Biggest Secrets, may provide the push needed to move you from the mundane to the meaningful.
Questioning the nature of reality, or at least our perception of it, the book delves into a wide range of topics from ancient creation myths to modern-day UFO theory, all with one over-arching theme-why are we here? Not shying away from controversy, de Silver tackles conspiracy theories and esoteric religious movements alike, with the end result of a very good read and a fine addition to any library built by a seeking mind.
De Silver explores a vast territory, from the depths of our own earth through space and time; for answers are to be found in both the likeliest and unlikeliest of places. New science and ancient wisdom come together in a comprehensible style that will set one's mind to questioning the very nature of what we have come to call reality. If ever you have questioned your reality, Humanity's Biggest Secrets is highly recommended.
