Southern Secrets is a sequel to The Southern Belle Breakfast Club. The ladies had no idea how their life was going to change after they buried their best friend, Gracie. Each letter held a secret that she had kept her entire life. She needed her friends to help her take care of unfinished business. Would the ladies of The Southern Belle Breakfast Club follow through with Gracie's wishes or would they let her secrets be forgotten? These decisions could change their lives forever. The mystery that followed Gracie to her death was soon to bring a challenge to her friends. They had to help regardless what they had to face. Their friendship of over thirty years would continue even after death.

This is a very good book. It’s the second novel in the Southern Belle Breakfast Club series by author Phyllis McManus. I enjoyed reading this mystery novel very much. The book deals with a group of southern women and the struggles they face when Gracie, one of their best friends dies. Gracie had kept many secrets during her life. After her death, the women opened letters addressed to them which contained the secrets. How they deal with all this is the plot of the book. I won’t reveal the rest of the story-line, since it would spoil the mystery element of it. But I will say it is a very good mystery book. Throughout the novel you get caught up in the emotions of each of the women’s lives.I look forward to reading more novels by author McManus.

This book was just as good as the first one. The characters are so life like and refreshing . I would highly recommend this book. This book would be a great summer read, but it won't be as meaningful if you don't read the first one.
I enjoyed the continued story of the ladies of The Southern Belle Breakfast Club. Could not put the book down. I hope there will be other stories about these women and the bond of friendship they share.
Loved this continuation the Southern Bell Breakfast Club. I felt like I had become friends with these women.
Finished read in one day. Holds your interest as you uncover the mysteries happenings. Still has all the love between the southern ladies.. makes you want to join their group. Hope for another story about these ladies
Absolutely loved Southern Secrets. The characters and the relationships of the Southern Belles are such an inspiration!!! They way the work together and depend on each other is breath of fresh air!!
I bought this book along with the other books by this author for my mother. She read every waking minute until she finished all 8 books. Now she can hardly wait for the author to finish another.
Great book. I hope there will be more. The interaction between the girls is great, you can tell that they care about each other and will do anything for each other. It is nice to read a book without blood and guts and graphic description of sex.
